Court Throws Out Ex-State Secretary Damages Claim

Ljubljana, 27 March - The Ljubljana District Court has thrown out a compensation claim filed by Boris Sustar, a former Economy Ministry state secretary sentenced in 2007 to five and a half years in prison for corruption. Sustar, the most senior official ever charged with corruption, had been demanding almost EUR 1m for trial-related damages.
