Hypo Bank Sees Profit Plunge

Ljubljana, 15 April - The Slovenian branch of troubled Austrian bank Hypo Group Alpe Adria saw total assets rise 3% to EUR 2.3bn in 2009, but net profit plummeted 75% to EUR 2.7m due to write-downs and newly-created provisions.
