Ljubljana Turns into World Book Capital
Ljubljana, 23 April - Ljubljana assumed the UNESCO title of World Book Capital with a flag-rising ceremony in front of the city hall on Friday at noon. The flag was raised by Mayor Zoran Jankovic and President Danilo Tuerk, who pointed to books as a symbol of culture, human spirit and progress of a nation.
