EU Ministers Discuss Idea of European Public Prosecution

Brussels, 23 April - EU justice ministers held the first discussion Friday on the establishment of a European public prosecution service as envisaged by the Lisbon Treaty. The majority backed a gradual approach, but there were also some doubts expressed by the UK and Ireland, Slovenia's Ales Zalar told reporters.
