Slovenia's Economy Contracted in Q1

Ljubljana, 31 May - Slovenia's economy contracted by 1.2% year-on-year in the first three months of 2010, the Statistics Office said on Monday. This is the sixth consecutive quarter of stagnation, but the drop was smaller than in the previous quarters. Compared to the fourth quarter of 2009, gross domestic product declined by 0.5%.
