Capital of Culture Title to Leave Lasting Mark on Maribor

Ljubljana, 1 July - A goal of Maribor's stint as the European Capital of Culture is a permanent makeover of Maribor and Slovenia, programme manager of the institution responsible for the organisation of the project due in 2012 told Thursday's daily Delo. It will take a lot of work to achieve this and other goals of the project, Tomaz Pandur added.
