Doctors React to Bonus Cut with Refusal to Do Overtime

Ljubljana, 29 July - Doctors reacted on Thursday to the stand-by duty bonuses cut, introduced by the crisis-related changes to the public sector pay act, by withdrawing their consent to work overtime beyond the scope prescribed by law. Although the move involves 85% to 90% of the doctors, the country's main hospitals are confident they can secure adequate services.
