Half of Public Employees to Go on Strike on 27 September

Ljubljana, 26 August - Trade unions representing about a half of some 160,000 public sector employees in Slovenia have announced a strike for 27 September in protest of the government's plan to suspend agreed pay rises. But the government has indicated it will soften its positions.
