Number of New Buildings Level in 2009

Ljubljana, 1 September - Almost 5,450 new buildings were constructed in Slovenia in 2009, which is almost the same as the year before. A total of 2.7m square metres of new surfaces were thus gained, which is however 14% less than in 2008, the National Statistics Office said on Wednesday.
