First Slovenian Victims of Fascism Were Executed 80 Years Ago

Trieste, 6 September - Monday marks 80 years to the day when four members of anti-fascist group TIGR were executed outside the village of Basovizza near Trieste, an event that has come to be celebrated in Slovenia as a landmark in the struggle for national liberation.
