Views Clash on Editor Appointment Consent in Media Bill

Ljubljana, 14 September - As part of a public consultation on the draft media bill, the Culture Ministry hosted a debate on Tuesday which showed conflicting positions on the compulsory consent of the journalist staff to the appointment of editors-in-chief, a new buffer in ownership changes and restrictions on cross ownership.
