Floods Hit Slovenia After Rivers Burst Banks, More Rain Expected
Ljubljana, 18 September - The heavy rain that hit Slovenia on Friday grew even stronger in the night and continued throughout Saturday, causing several rivers to burst their banks and serious flooding above all in areas around Celje, Zagorje and Ziri as well as in Ljubljana and Ajdovscina. More heavy rain is expected during the coming night.
