Thousands of Public Employees Go on Strike

Ljubljana, 27 September - Part of the public sector went on strike at midnight in protest against the suspension of agreed pay rises. There are indications that a half of some 160,000 public employees will join the biggest industrial action in the Slovenian public sector to date.
