Constitutional Judge Questions Chief Justice Candidate's Political Past

Ljubljana, 2 November - Jan Zobec, one of nine constitutional judges, strongly attacked the nomination of Branko Maslesa for Supreme Court president in weekly paper Reporter on Tuesday, backing claims that Maslesa was an influential official in the communist regime and a vocal opponent of Slovenia's independence.
