Court Rules Provisions on Right to Correction Unconstitutional

Ljubljana, 5 November - The Constitutional Court has declared as unconstitutional provisions of the media act determining the deadlines for requests for corrections. It said that publication of a correction could be requested within 30 days after the injured party had been acquainted with the report, not 30 days after publication of the report as determined by law.
