Environmentalists Fear Tough Times for Slovenian Ski Resorts

Ljubljana, 9 November - The International Commission for the Protection of Alps (CIPRA) presented alarming statistical data on Tuesday. If the climate in Slovenia warms up by another two degrees Celsius, the number of days with a snow cover deeper than 30cm willl drop by 38-68%, resulting in the end of Slovenian ski resorts, research shows.
