Östersund, 5 December - Jakov Fak, a Croatian competing for Slovenia, finished third in the 12.5-km pursuit event in Oestersund, Sweden, on Sunday and improved his best World Cup result. He missed three shots, and was beaten only by Ole Einar Bjoerndaln and Emil Hegle Svendsen, both Norway.
