Brussels Backs Slovenian Scheme to Help Farmers

Brussels, 6 December - The European Commission said on Monday that it had authorised the Slovenian scheme with a budget of around EUR 3.8m. The scheme aims to aid the farmers who face difficulties due to the current economic crisis. Aid will be granted until 31 December in the form of direct grants of up to EUR 15,000.
