Proposal to Abolish Mandatory Tech Goods Warranty Stirs Debate

Ljubljana, 7 January - The Economy Ministry has prolonged what is becoming a lively public debate on changes to the consumer protection act abolishing mandatory warranty for technical goods. While the Consumer Association (ZPS) finds that this would leave consumers vulnerable, the ministry says the changes are simply adjustment to EU legislation.
