16-Year-Old Wins Custody-Related Damage Suit from State

Ljubljana, 10 January - The Ljubljana District Court has ruled that the state has to pay EUR 14,500 in compensation to Asja Jez, a 16-year-old girl from Celje who had to go through a lengthy custody-awarding procedure following the divorce of her parents, in what is the first such case in Slovenia, daily Dnevnik reported on Monday.
