SocDems Come to Defence of Minister, Opposition Doubts Auditors' Motives

Ljubljana, 12 January - The senior coalition Social Democrats (SD) came to the defence of Finance Minister Franc Krizanic after the Court of Audit called for his dismissal due to the Ministry of Finance's failure to implement due care and diligence in managing public finance. The opposition parties meanwhile expressed doubts about the real motives of the state auditors.
