Liszt Concert Marks Start of Hungarian EU Presidency
Ljubljana, 19 January - The start of the Hungarian EU presidency will be marked in Slovenia on Wednesday with a concert of works by Franz Liszt (1811-1866) which the Hungarian composer created while living in Spain. The concert at the Slovenian Philharmonic will link Liszt's works with songs of some of the biggest Spanish 19th century composers he socialised with.
