Slovenia Faring Poorly in Waste Management

Brussels, 20 January - Slovenia is still a long way from becoming a 'recycling society', a European Commission report on member states' performance in the prevention and recycling of waste suggests. Some 80% of waste is still landfilled in Slovenia, while the EU average stands at 40%.
