Nanut's Conducting Career Stretching from Moscow to Buenos Aires

Ljubljana, 7 February - Anton Nanut, one of the two Preseren Prize laureates this year, is the best known Slovenian conductor abroad. He has conducted more than 200 orchestras, from Moscow to New York and Buenos Aires, and recorded at least as many records. One of the highlights for him is conducting the Slovenian Philharmonic at their first concert at Carnegie Hall.
