FM Confident Slovenia to Become Member of UN Security Council
New York, 12 February - Foreign Minister Samuel Zbogar expressed late on Friday his belief that Slovenia will become a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council in January. Zbogar remained in the US after accompanying Prime Minister Borut Pahor to Washington earlier this week to lobby for Slovenia's 2012-2013 Security Council membership in New York.
