Slovenia Contributes Another Officer to Atalanta

Ljubljana, 21 February - Slovenia has sent its first naval officer to serve on-board a ship in the EU's Atalanta operation targeting Somali pirates, the Defence Ministry said in a press release on Monday. The naval officer will serve as the second navigation officer on the German frigate "Niedersachsen" for a period six months.
