Slovenia Amends Law to Accept Guantanamo Inmates

Ljubljana, 24 February - The government on Thursday created the legal basis for Slovenia to accept detainees from the US prison in Guantanamo. "The reception of innocent people from Guantanamo, who were brutally tortured, is a humanitarian issue," Prime Minister Borut Pahor said after the government adopted changes to the foreigners act.
