Parliament Passes Act Furthering Social Enterprises
Ljubljana, 7 March - MPs passed unanimously on Monday an act that provides a legal framework for social enterprises, a concept so far neglected in Slovenia. The law makes it possible to set up enterprises whose primary motive is not profit but the rendering of socially useful services and employment of persons with poor employment prospects.
