Potocnik: Too Early to Assess Consequences of Japan N-Disaster

Brussels, 20 March - European Environment Commissioner Janez Potocnik believes that environmental consequences of the nuclear disaster in Japan cannot be assessed in their entirety at the moment. He also noted that energy policy is in the hands of EU members, which have themselves make efforts to ensure safe operation of their N-plants.
