Minority Official: Town Limits Compromise Forced by Austria

Ljubljana, 7 April - The proposal to set the Slovenian population threshold for bilingual town limits signs in Carinthia at 17.5% was forced by Austria and is not a compromise that would be acceptable to both sides, Vladimir Smrtnik, the head of the Slovenian minority party Unity List (EL), stressed for this week's Demokracija.
