PEN Meeting Starts with Writing Diversity, Censorship Panels

Bled, 5 May - Authors from around the world discussed diversity in writing and censorship as the 43rd PEN meeting kicked off in Bled on Thursday. The censorship discussion turned out to be very topical, as Turkish author Tarik Gunersel urged the participants to support an appeal to release a journalist who had just been sentenced to prison.
