N-Plant Storing 402 Tonnes of Spent Nuclear Fuel
Krško, 7 May - The nuclear waste stored at Slovenia's only nuclear power plant NEK located in Krsko (SE) amounted to 2,210.6 sq metres on 31 December 2010, according to NEK's annual report. The pool of spent nuclear fuel is holding 984 pieces of spent fuel from its 24 fuel cycles. Total mass of spent fuel amounted to 402 tonnes.
