Ljubljana Celebrates Anniversary of WWII Liberation
Ljubljana, 7 May - Ljubljana is celebrating on Saturday the anniversary of liberation from Fascist occupation with a traditional hike along the barb wire line that encircled the city between 1942 and 1945. A different ceremony in the city centre celebrated the 70th anniversary of the Liberation Front. Ljubljana was liberated from Fascist occupation on 9 May 1945.
