Survey Unemployment Up to 8.5% in Q1

Ljubljana, 31 May - Unemployment in Slovenia rose to 8.5% in the first quarter of 2011, according to the labour force survey, the standard used by the International Labour Organisation and Eurostat. Up from 7.8% in the previous quarter, unemployment grew for the second consecutive quarter, the Statistics Office said on Tuesday.
