Minority Organisations Critical of Carinthian Referendum

Klagenfurt, 8 June - The presidents of two Slovenian minority organisations in Austria said on Wednesday that the ongoing non-binding referendum in Austria's Carinthia over bilingual place names was questionable, arguing that minority rights cannot depend on a vote by the majority.
