Mahler's Monumental Symphony to Open Ljubljana Festival

Ljubljana, 16 June - This year's Ljubljana Summer Festival, the most prestigious festival in Slovenia, will be opened on 3 July with Symphony No. 8 by Gustav Mahler (1860-1911), performed by more than a thousand musicians and singers. Festival director Darko Brlek promises the opening to be spectacular and the whole festival to be a treat.
