Mercator and Agrokor Hold First Talks on Konzum Acquisition

Ljubljana, 22 June - The managements of retailer Mercator and Croatian food group Agrokor met on Wednesday for preliminary talks on a possible acquisition by Mercator of Agrokor's grocery division Konzum. The talks, whose content was not disclosed, will continue in the coming weeks. Mercator's AGM, held immediately after the talks, meanwhile brought no surprises.
