Minister Thinks Withdrawal from Afghanistan in October Too Early

Ljubljana, 24 June - Defence Minister Ljubica Jelusic told the parliamentary Defence Committee on Friday that the withdrawal of Slovenian soldiers from Afghanistan in October, as suggested yesterday by PM Borut Pahor, would be premature. She pointed to the government decision from 2009 which envisages the end of the mission in October 2012.
