Parliament Starts Debate on New Media Bill

Ljubljana, 14 July - The National Assembly will start on Thursday the debate on a new media bill that tightens requirements for regulatory approval of acquisitions of media outlets and introduces provisions aimed at boosting the independence of editorial boards in relation to the management.
