Ljubljana, 14 October - The Slovene Government will propose the 1996 national budget bill for the parliamentary procedure next Monday, 16 October, Slovene Finance Minister Mitja Gaspari told a news conference Thursday. The outgoings earmarked in the 1996 national budget bill total SIT 570.7 billion, and the surplus around SIT 11 billion. The predicted budget receipts amount to less than SIT 582 billion. The total tax rates are smaller by 0.5 per cent. The budget surplus is intended to cover for the deficit in the pension and disability insurance budget.
