Mixed Response to First Adoption by Gay Partner of Child's Parent

Ljubljana, 20 July - Tuesday's announcement that the Labour, Family and Social Affairs Ministry had approved the adoption of a child by the lesbian partner of the child's biological mother was met with mixed response on Wednesday. Officials say the move is in line with the law, while a party opposing gay adoptions denounced it as a political decision.
