NKMB Generates EUR 5.6m in Net Profit in First Half of 2011

Maribor, 26 July - Slovenia's second biggest bank, NKBM, generated a net profit of EUR 5.6m in the first six months of 2011, which is a nearly 50% drop compared to the same period last year, when its net profit reached EUR 10.2m. The bank says that poor net profit was the result of write-offs amounting to EUR 31.6m.
