NATO Delegation in Slovenia Presents Its Study on Expansion to the East of Europe

Ljubljana, 16 October - SLOVENIA/NATO/ENLARGEMENT/STUDY/CRAGG
The process of NATO's expansion to the East of Europe will be carried out broadly parallelly with but independently of the process of enlargement of the European Union (EU), since the two organizations share the same security goals and democratic values, said NATO Secretary General Deputy Anthony Cragg Monday in Ljubljana, heading NATO's delegation which presented to Slovene representatives the Alliance's study on expansion to the East of Europe. Slovenia is NATO delegation's first stop in its tour in Central and South-Eastern Europe.
