Luka Koper Grinds to Halt as Crane Operators Go on Strike

Koper, 29 July - Crane operators at Slovenia's sole seaport, Luka Koper, went on strike Friday morning, after a week of negotiations with the management. The workers demand improvements in safety at work and a reduction in the number of working hours, while the management believes that the strike demands are illegal.
