Housing Loans Burdened by Strong Swiss Franc

Ljubljana, 10 August - The recent strengthening of the Swiss franc compared to the euro is taking its toll on borrowers who have taken loans in this currency in Slovenia. The hardest-hit are households, which have taken 70% of such loans, the bulk of it to purchase real estate, according to the latest data from the central bank.
