Plans for New Gaming Facility Stir Dust in Gorisko
Šempeter pri Gorici, 11 August - Plans for a EUR 70-100m shopping and entertainment centre at the Vrtojba border crossing with Italy have run up against a wall of opposition in the Gorisko region after it became known that the centre is to include a gaming lounge. Slovenia's biggest casino operator, the Nova Gorica-based HIT group, fears competition.
