Ombudsman Bizjak: Many Still Do not Want to Understand Ombudsman's Role and Competence

Ljubljana, 18 October - Slovene Ombudsman Ivo Bizjak presented the work of the Human Rights Ombudsman to a news conference Wednesday. His office received 1.929 petitions by 10 October, of which 620 are still unresolved. Most of them refer to the area of administrative affairs, court proceedings, social security and housing problems.
