Slovenia Celebrates Prekmurje Reunification Day

Ljubljana/Murska Sobota, 17 August - Slovenia celebrates on Wednesday a national holiday marking the reunification of the northeastern-most region of Prekmurje with the homeland in 1919. The main ceremony, which was held Tuesday evening in Murska Sobota, was also attended by Prime Minister Borut Pahor and Speaker Pavel Gantar.
