Opposition SLS Denies Support for Speaker Candidate

Ljubljana, 30 August - The opposition People's Party (SLS) will not back LibDem deputy Ljubo Germic as the candidate for the new speaker of the National Assembly, the head of the SLS deputy group, Jakob Presecnik, told the press on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the five unaffiliated MPs announced support for Germic.
