SID Bank More than Doubles Pre-Tax Profit in First Half

Ljubljana, 30 August - The state-owned export and development SID bank generated in the first half of 2011 EUR 10.1m in profit before tax, compared to EUR 4.1m in the same period last year. It generated a EUR 8.1m in net profit, up 147% year-on-year, the bank said in a press release on Tuesday.
